Remodeled kitchen with large custom island

Kitchen Remodeling

We take kitchens all the way from tear-out to the day you load the cabinets back up. Cabinets, countertops, tile, lighting, plumbing and electrical all get scheduled by the same people, so you are never the one calling around to find out who is showing up tomorrow. One person stays accountable for the job from the first walkthrough to the last punch list item.

Master bathroom remodel with double vanity and soaking tub

Bathroom Remodeling

Master baths, guest baths and basement baths all get built the same way here. The wet areas go in with the correct substrate behind the tile, real waterproofing over it and enough slope to actually move water to the drain. Once that part is right, we finish the room so it looks like it belongs with the rest of your house instead of a showroom display.

Whole-Home Remodeling

Whole-house remodels, additions, basement finishes and structural work are all carpentry problems before they are anything else. We are a carpentry-first company, so we frame it ourselves rather than handing your house off to a rotating cast of subs who have never worked together. That is also why we can tell you early on what a wall can carry and what it cannot.

Custom luxury pergola with outdoor seating and fire feature overlooking a pool in Western Minneapolis

Luxury Pergolas

A pergola is not just a few posts and a roof. When it is built right it becomes the room you use most of the summer, with shade when the sun is high and structure strong enough for fans, heaters, lighting and sound. We frame and finish them with the same joinery and flashing details we use on the house, so they look like they were always part of the property instead of a kit dropped in the backyard.

Decks & Porches

Cedar, treated lumber and composite decking all get built for frost depth here, because a deck that was fine in October will move by April if the footings were rushed. We set the footings below frost, flash the ledger so water cannot run behind your siding, and pull the permit so an inspector sees the framing before any decking goes down. Screen porches, stairs, railing and lighting are all part of the same conversation.

Lake Minnetonka home with covered boat slips along the shoreline

Docks & Shoreline

Working on the water is its own kind of carpentry. Ice movement, wave action and shifting shoreline all get factored into how a dock or a boat slip structure is framed and anchored, and the finish materials have to survive being wet for half the year. We build and rebuild lakeside structures around Lake Minnetonka and the surrounding lakes, and we coordinate whatever permitting the shoreline rules call for before anything gets set.

New shingle roof on a Minneapolis craftsman home

Roofing

We handle full tear-offs, storm damage and straight replacement work across the metro. The old layers come off so we can see the decking and fix whatever is soft before it gets covered up again. From there the roof goes back together with ice and water shield where the code calls for it, ventilation that actually moves air, and flashing details that hold at the walls and valleys.

Home with new vinyl siding and brick accents

Siding, Stucco & Stone

Siding, stucco and stone veneer only work when the layers behind them are right, so we treat the exterior as one system rather than a surface. That means housewrap that laps the way it should, flashing at every opening and terminations that give water somewhere to go. We work in wood, vinyl, fiber cement, cedar shake and cultured stone depending on what the house calls for.

New stone chimney construction in Minneapolis

Chimney Repair & Construction

When a chimney leaks, the brick usually gets blamed and the flashing is usually the culprit. We open the area up so we can see what the water has been doing, replace any deck and framing that has gone soft, then set proper step and counter flashing before the shingles go back in tight around it. If the brickwork or the crown is genuinely failing, we can rebuild that too.

White home with new double-hung and arched windows

Windows & Gutters

We do both full-frame and insert window replacement, and we form seamless gutter on site so there are no seams sitting over your entry. These two jobs quietly decide whether the rest of your house stays dry, since a window that was never flashed and a downspout dumping at the foundation cause damage you do not see until it is expensive.

New Construction

We build custom homes in the metro and we stay on them the whole way. The same contractor who walks the lot with you handles framing, the exterior envelope, mechanical coordination and the interior finish, right through the punch list and the warranty period after you move in. You are not handed off to a different project manager every phase.
